At our headquarters in the Houthavens in Amsterdam, departments work together every day to share the BALR. experience. We now sell our products in more than 150 countries worldwide, but this is only the beginning. Our dreams reach further and there are still many opportunities. Therefore, we want to strengthen the organization with a further expansion of our Wholesale team.

Your game.

As a Sales Manager, next to maintaining and further strengthening your relationship with existing clients, your main goal is to scout out new markets and develop plays to target these markets.

We currently sell our (B2B) collections in more than 20 countries but our game plan is to share the Life of a BALR. to the rest of the world. In this crucial role, you are the face of BALR. and you are responsible for developing key premium distribution networks around the globe.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify new markets for our brand through market research, client visits, and visiting fair trades;

  • Prepare, develop, and execute a go-to-market strategy to create new business opportunities;

  • Prepare sales forecasts by, among other things- collecting sales data, performing seasonal analysis and drawing up market- and key account plans;

  • Work closely with the design and marketing teams to ensure alignment with the brand’s overall goals and objectives;

  • Have an extensive knowledge of the fashion industry and current trends in the market.

BALR. is looking for a professional commercial go-getter with a lot of energy and a “getting things done” mentality. You are strong in spotting opportunities and with your entrepreneurial mindset you ensure that you make an impact in the growth of our brand. It is important that you feel at home in a scale-up environment with a lot of international potential.

  • A completed HBO education, in a commercial direction;

  • You have an entrepreneurial, independent mindset and think beyond closing a sale;

  • You are a team player and naturally get people “on board”;

  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a Sales Manager or a similar position at a premium or luxury brand in the fashion and/or lifestyle industry;

  • Experience in the fashion and/or lifestyle industry is a must;

  • A network of distributors and agents is a strong advantage;

  • A network in Asia, Eastern Europe and USA is an advantage;

  • Good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing;

  • In possession of a driving license B;

  • You are available full time.
