Therefore, we want to strengthen the organization with a Supply Chain Manager.

Your game.

As Supply Chain Manager at BALR. you will be responsible for the optimization of logistics processes, both B2C and B2B. In this role you will analyze the entire international supply chain, in order to then propose and implement improvement plans. Your focus will not only be optimizing costs, but above all setting up an efficient and effective supply chain. This means looking for the right national and international partners and optimizing cooperation internally and externally. As a result, you will make a lot of impact in the further growth of our brand.

  • Analyze, optimize and coordinate national and international logistics processes;

  • Develop and implement concrete improvement plans that contribute to an efficient and effective supply chain;

  • Optimize and coordinate the global purchasing and sales process;

  • Managing store replenishment, (Netherlands, Germany and Belgium);

  • Optimize collaboration HQ (Amsterdam), Logistics (Alkmaar) and affiliated external parties;

  • Optimize and coordinate cooperation with other logistics partners, Marketplaces and B2B partners for international shipment;

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


Your professional statistics.

BALR. is looking for a data-driven and entrepreneurial Supply Chain Manager. It is important that you are comfortable in a newly created role within a start-up / scale-up environment. You will have a lot of freedom to make an impact, both short and long term.

  • Completed WO education, in the direction of Supply Chain Management;

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a similar environment;

  • Experience with data driven logistics and in optimizing supply chain processes;

  • Knowledge and experience in international transportation;

  • Analytical, entrepreneurial and you are capable to easily establish internal and external contacts;

  • Fluent in Dutch and excellent command of the English language both verbally and in writing;

  • Experience with Marketplaces is a Pre

  • You are available full-time You will work both in Amsterdam, but mostly in our Warehouse in Alkmaar.
