We now sell our products in more than 150 countries worldwide, but this is only the beginning. Our dreams reach further and there are still many opportunities. Therefore, we want to strengthen the organization with a further expansion of our Wholesale team.


Your game.

As an International Sales Manager, you will become part of our wholesale department, next to maintaining and further strengthening your relationship with existing agents and client-partners, your goal is to scout out new business and develop plays to target these markets.

We currently sell our (B2B) collections in more than 40 countries but our game plan is to share the Life of a BALR. to the rest of the world. In this crucial role, you are the face of BALR. and you are responsible for developing key premium distribution networks around the globe.


Key responsibilities:

  • Identify new markets for our brand through market research, client visits, and visiting fair trades;
  • Sales agency partners; Prepare, develop, and execute a (go-to-) market strategy to create business opportunities;
  • Build and maintain a strong relation with external stakeholders like sales agents & distributors as well as clients.
  • Prepare sales forecasts by, among other things- collecting sales data, performing seasonal analysis and drawing up market- and key account plans;
  • Work closely with the design and marketing teams to ensure alignment with the brand’s overall goals and objectives;

BALR. is looking for a professional commercial go-getter with a lot of energy and a “getting things done” mentality. You are strong in spotting opportunities and with your entrepreneurial mindset you ensure that you make an impact in the growth of our brand. It is important that you feel at home in a scale-up environment with a lot of international potential. We’re looking for the following statistics:

  • A completed HBO or University education, in a commercial direction;
  • You have an entrepreneurial, independent mindset and think beyond closing a sale;
  • You are a team player and naturally get people “on board”;
  • At least 5 years of experience as a sales manager or a similar position at a premium or luxury brand in the fashion industry;
  • Experience in the men fashion and/or lifestyle industry is a must;
  • A network of distributors and agents is a strong advantage;
  • A network in Asia, Middle East and Americas is an advantage;
  • Good command of the English language in word and writing;
  • You are available full time.
  • Have an extensive knowledge of the (wholesale) fashion industry and trends in the men’s market.
